WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 -- The office of Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Benjamin L. Cardin and Barbara A. Mikulski (both D-MD) today announced the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has released almost $2 million to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to help restore the Chesapeake Bay's oyster population.
