TUCSON, Ariz., Aug. 17 -- The University of Arizona issued the following news release:
Wildcat Welcome events on the University of Arizona campus help new and returning students move in, chow down, be safe, feel at home and cool off.
President Robert Shelton, Provost Meredith Hay and more than 300 UA volunteers have signed up to haul luggage, dish out barbecue or scoop ice cream during Wildcat Welcome, with activities running Aug. 18-29.
