LANSING, Mich., Aug. 10 -- The Michigan Public Service Commission issued the following news release:
The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today directed Consumers Energy Company to refund approximately $18 million to certain electric customers.
The refunds consist of:
* $15,722,954 to residential and secondary customers from excess revenues the company collected through self-implemented rates in 2009; and
