WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following news release:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold a seismic workshop in San Luis Obispo, Calif., Sept. 8 - 9 to share information about seismic hazard and its application to the safe operation of nuclear power plants.

The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 8, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept 9, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 333 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo.
