Nationally renowned urban-education expert Steve Perry, author of Man Up! Nobody is Coming to Save Us and Raggedy Schools: The Untold Truth, will speak at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Tuesday, April 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Alys Stephens Center, 1200 10th Ave. South.
