CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 6 -- Johnson C. Smith University issued the following news release:
Dr. Condoleezza Rice will serve as speaker for Johnson C. Smith University's Commencement Exercises at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 2, 2010, inside the Irwin Belk Complex on campus.The commencement will culminate the 143rd academic year for the University. Dr. Rice is a professor, diplomat and author. She is the daughter of JCSU alumnus John W. Rice, class of 1946.
