DETROIT, April 6 -- Detroit Public Schools issued the following news release:
There's nothing unusual about an athlete who attended Detroit Public Schools to play in the NCAA Final Four.
But not many, if any, African-American hockey players from the Motor City have played in the NCAA Frozen Four.
Rochester Institute of Technology's Cameron Burt, 23, breaks the mold.
