RALEIGH, N.C., March 29 -- The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources issued the following news release:
An additional 91 acres is now part of the Historic Stagville State Historic Site in Durham, which makes available more natural wooded area for camping, hiking and cultural exploration in this urbanizing region. Through the efforts of the Triangle Land Conservancy and a successful grant application to the N.C. Natural Heritage Trust Fund, the site has more than doubled . . .
