Special Olympics Medal Winners to Get Cash Prizes

SHIMLA, India, Dec. 3 - The Government of Himachal Pradesh issued the following news release:
Three percent sports budgetary provisions had been earmarked for Special Olympics and Special Olympics Medal Winners would be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 for Gold, Rs. 15,000 for Silver and Rs. 10,000 for Bronze medals respectively while National Medal Winners would get cash prize of Rs. 5,000 for all the three First, Second and Third positions.
