NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 3 -- The Tennessee Department of Education issued the following news release:
The Tennessee Department of Education has been awarded a $30,000 grant from the Verizon Foundation to provide training to teachers statewide on the thousands of free, standards-based education resources available through Verizon Thinkfinity (www.thinkfinity.org). This is the second year the foundation has provided this grant to the department.
