WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- Catholic University of America issued the following news release:

Very Rev. David M. O'Connell, C.M., the president of The Catholic University of America, announced today that he has appointed Professor Ingrid Hsieh-Yee acting dean of the School of Library and Information Science.
