WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- The office of Sen. Charles E. Grassley, R-Iowa, issued the following news release:

Senator Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture has awarded a $258,000 competitive grant to Iowa State University through the National Needs Graduate Fellowship Grant Program.
