TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 17 -- The University of South Florida issued the following news release:
Hundreds of 4th to 9th grade students competed at USF St. Petersburg's GIS Day on Wednesday, Nov. 19 in the Campus Activities Center.
Students were challenged by interactive GIS activities including a GPS Treasure Hunt, a Google Earth Search for Olympic Champion Michael Phelps and an activity to track hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean through the use of Arc Explorer. See more a . . .
