TAMPA, Fla., July 31 -- The University of South Florida issued the following news release:
The National Institutes of Health has awarded $127.7 million to the University of South Florida research team led by Jeffrey Krischer, PhD, to coordinate worldwide studies on the prevention and treatment of juvenile diabetes. This latest funding, a seven-year award, supports Dr. Krischer's coordination of the NIH network of clinical research centers known as TrialNet.
