AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 22 -- Saginaw Valley State University issued the following press release:
Saginaw Valley State University took the field for the first time this season against St. Edward's University in Austin Texas as they continued to prepare for their annual spring trip to Florida next week. The Cardinals battled hard but fell in the opener 4-3.
St. Edwards opened the scoring in the second inning, pushing three runs across home the plate against the Cardinals . . .
