WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Silvestre Reyes, D-Texas (16th CD), issued the following newsletter:
President Bush's budget proposal is unacceptable and reflects the misplaced priorities of his Administration. From Medicare and Medicaid to low-income energy programs like LIHEAP and funding for our ports of entry, the Administration's proposals are misguided and I will fight them as Congress shapes the 2009 budget.
