HARTFORD, Conn., June 5 -- Connecticut State Senate Democrats issued the following news release:
Senate President Donald Williams, Jr. says that he and his caucus members have decided, after several days of meeting over energy issues, that next week's special session must include action on the energy crisis in Connecticut.
Since the end of the legislative session in early May, gas prices have risen dramatically. Families also face the specter of crippling increases . . .
