RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 19 -- The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources' Division of Water Quality issued the following news release:
The N.C. Division of Water Quality will hold two hearings to collect public comment concerning draft rules for waste management performance standards at new or expanding swine farms. Included for comment is a Division of Air Quality rule that specifies the methods for evaluating odor at the swine facilities.
