SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 10 -- The California State Association of Counties issued the following news release:
Following the release today of the Governor's proposed 2008-09 budget, California's counties expressed an understanding of the need for cuts, but remain concerned about many of the proposed spending reductions and their impacts on counties.
