EVANSVILLE, Ind., Aug. 11 -- The city of Evansville issued the following press release:
The opening of AMAZONIA, Forest of Riches and the new entry complex at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden on August 4th, led to the largest attendance week in Zoo history. Over the course of last week, 15,372 guests visited the Zoo with the new AMAZONIA exhibit beating all previous weekly attendance records.
