EPA: Air Plan Approval, Air Quality Designation for Connecticut
SPRINGFIELD, Virginia, April 20 -- The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule (40 CFR Part 52), published in the Federal Register on April 20, entitled: "Air Plan Approval and Air Quality Designation; Connecticut; Determination of Clean Data for the 2008 8-Hour Ozone Standard for the Greater Connecticut Area; Correction".
The proposed rule was issued by Dennis Deziel, Regional Administrator, EPA Region 1.

USDA Approves Program to Feed Kids in California and Connecticut
WASHINGTON, April 25 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued the following news release on April 24:
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced California and Connecticut have been approved to operate Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT), a new program authorized by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), signed by President Trump, which provides assistance to families of children eligible for free or reduced-price meals dealing with school closures.
