Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency: USS Oklahoma Sailor Accounted For From World War II (Day, F.)
WASHINGTON, Nov. 27 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency issued the following news release:
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today that Navy Chief Water Tender Francis D. Day, 37, of Milburn, New Jersey, killed during World War II, was accounted for on July 29, 2019.

EPA Awards $1.8 Million to Cut Marine Diesel Emissions in New York

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded a $1,832,567 Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) grant to the Connecticut Maritime Foundation, Inc. to curb harmful pollution from ferries in the greater New York and New Jersey area.
