Bureau of Labor Statistics: Portland-South Portland, Maine, Had the Lowest Unemployment Rate in August 2019
WASHINGTON, Oct. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from The Economics Daily: In August, Portland-South Portland, Maine, had the lowest unemployment rate, 1.7 percent. The next lowest rates were in Ames, Iowa, and Burlington-South Burlington, Vermont, 1.9 percent each.
