Sen. Blunt Introduces Resolution to Promote National Awareness of Adoption
WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 -- Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 704) "expressing support for the goals of National Adoption Day and National Adoption Month by promoting national awareness of adoption and the children awaiting families, celebrating children and families involved in adoption, and encouraging the people of the United States to secure safety, permanency, and well-being for all children." Sen. Tillis Introduces Bill on American World War II Heritage City
WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., has introduced legislation (S. 3659) to "authorize the Secretary of the Interior to annually designate at least one city in the United States as an American World War II Heritage City."
