Rep. Esty Introduces Resolution to Remember 20th Anniversary of Shepard's Death
WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 -- Rep. Elizabeth Esty, D-Conn., has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 1121) "remembering the 20th anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death and expressing Congress's continued support for the prevention of hate crimes and the advancement of equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Americans."

Rep. Thompson Introduces Resolution to Designate National Wildlife Refuge Week
WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 -- Rep. Mike Thompson, D-Calif., has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 1122) "expressing support for the designation of the week beginning on October 14, 2018, as National Wildlife Refuge Week."
The resolution was introduced on Oct. 12 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Ron Kind, D-Wis., Frank A. LoBiondo, R-N.J., and Robert J. Wittman, R-Va. It was referred to the House Natural Resources Committee.
