WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6741) to amend the Federal Reserve Act "to increase monetary policy transparency and accountability and to make reforms to the Federal Reserve System." The bill was introduced on Sept. 7 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Frank D. Lucas, R-Okla., Alex X. Mooney, R-W.Va., Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., and Warren Davidson, R-Ohio.
