Center for Cancer Research: Clinical Trial Researching CAR T-Cell Therapy for Leukemia and Lymphoma
BETHESDA, Maryland, Oct. 9 (TNSres) -- The National Institutes of Health's Center for Cancer Research issued the following news:
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic lymphoma are blood cancers that affect certain white blood cells. A clinical trial led by Jennifer N. Brudno, M.D., Associate Research Physician in the Surgery Branch, is researching CAR T-cell therapy for these cancers.
The trial will take place at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and there is no cost
