Ind. U.S. Attorney: Labor Union Treasurer Convicted After Embezzling More Than $91,000 Over Six Years
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Feb. 25 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, Zachary A. Myers, issued the following news release: Matthew Archer, 59, of McCordsville, Indiana, has been convicted of wire fraud. According to court documents, from 2006 to December of 2019, Matthew Archer served as the treasurer for an industrial union (the Union) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As part of his employment, Archer was responsible for maintaining the Union's bank accounts and records.   more
