Rep. Luetkemeyer Introduces Bill to Require Compliance With Administrative Procedure Act
WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., has introduced legislation (H.R. 9315) to "amend the Securities Act of 1933 to require the accounting principles standard setting body to comply with the Administrative Procedure Act and the Government in the Sunshine Act, to require the head of such body to testify annually before Congress."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 16 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Ted Budd, R-N.C. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.

Sen. Coons Introduces Bill to Establish U.S. Foundation for International Conservation
WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Del., has introduced legislation (S. 5134) to "establish the U.S. Foundation for International Conservation to promote long-term management of protected and conserved areas."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 17 and has six co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., John Boozman, R-Ark., Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., Richard Burr, R-N.C., and Thom Tillis, R-N.C.
