WASHINGTON, March 15 -- The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Va., has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation notice (N40442-12-R-3008) for the repair and modification of the deck insulation system within Cargo Hold 3, Level 4 of the USNS Alan Shepard. It was posted on March 14 with a response date of March 30. The approved source is U.S. Joiner LLC, Crozet, Va. Place of performance will be in San Francisco. . . .
