WASHINGTON, June 4 -- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is set to launch the Gateway to Research Opportunities for the Workforce (GROW) Program, aimed at enhancing research capacity and increasing access to STEM education for students from underrepresented communities. This two-year training initiative will prepare high school and undergraduate students to become competitive applicants for research training programs at prestigious institutions, including NIH's own programs.
