WASHINGTON, May 28 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is seeking proposals for the construction of an electrical switching station at Watervliet Arsenal, New York. This project aims to enhance the facility's resilience by providing backup power through the installation of four 2MW generators. The new switching station will ensure continuous power supply during long-term outages from the main substation, thereby maintaining operational readiness.
