WASHINGTON, May 22 -- The Pacific Air Forces is seeking proposals for the repair of two tip-up aircraft hangar doors at Building 1340, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. This project is critical for maintaining operational readiness by ensuring that the hangar doors are fully functional, operable, and weather-tight. The scope of work includes repairs to mechanical operating systems, replacement of counterweight systems, door insulation and cladding, and installation of heated thresholds.
