WASHINGTON, May 21 -- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is set to modify an existing contract with Sierra Nevada Company (SNC) to provide critical support for the VAMPIRE counter-unmanned aerial systems (c-UAS) sustainment effort for the Ukraine Navy. This procurement is essential for maintaining operational readiness and effectiveness of NATO-deployed systems in Eastern Europe, ensuring that the Ukraine Navy has the necessary resources to counter aerial threats.
