WASHINGTON, May 21 -- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals for a significant construction project at the Salem VA Medical Center in Virginia. The initiative aims to consolidate Intensive Care Units by constructing approximately 10,115 square feet of new patient care space, enhancing the facility's capacity to provide critical care services. This expansion will extend the existing ICU space to the east, effectively utilizing the area above the Primary Care Clinic.
