ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 24 -- A123 Systems, Waltham, Massachusetts, has been assigned a patent (9,685,678) developed by three co-inventors for "electrode materials with a synthetic solid electrolyte interface." The co-inventors are Viet Vu, Canton, Michigan, Jinjun Shi, San Jose, California, and Pu Zhang, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
