WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following event notification (53026) on individual contaminated while offloading uranyl nitrate:
INDIVIDUAL CONTAMINATED WHILE OFFLOADING URANYL NITRATE
"24 Hour Event Notification based on 10 CFR 70.50(b)(1) for an unplanned contamination event that requires access to the contaminated area to be restricted for more than 24 hours, by imposing additional radiological controls or by prohibiting entry . . .
