CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 19 -- Charleston County School District issued the following news:
The Hometown Huddle advisory committee has awarded a grant of $4,000 to Matilda F. Dunston Primary School from the Carolina Panthers and the NFL. The grant is designated to support the purchase of new recess equipment for students in grades Pre-K - 3rd.
Per Hometown Huddle grant guidelines, distribution of funding should be sustainable in nature. The program will only fund expenses . . .
