CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 18 -- Charleston County School District issued the following news:
Murray-LaSaine Elementary and Malcolm C. Hursey Elementary recently received a South Carolina DHEC Recycling Education grant.
The Recycling Education Grant may be used to support school recycling, composting or waste reduction activities, or for costs associated with field trips designed to improve student understanding of waste reduction and recycling issues.
