Thousands of Students Across Santa Ana Unified Safely View Rare Solar Eclipse

SANTA ANA, Calif., Aug. 22 -- The Santa Ana Unified School District issued the following news:
About 10,000 students in the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) viewed the solar eclipse Aug. 21, 2017 using special glasses provided courtesy of NASA and Google.
Viewing events made possible by the donated glasses took place at nine intermediate sites, and three of the district's K-8 schools that serve intermediate grades.
