Today, Bipartisan HBCU Caucus co-chair Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement in response to the White House's indication that they will move ahead with the 2017 HBCU Week Conference after Rep. Adams, the Congressional Black Caucus, and Thurgood Marshall College Fund called for postponement of the conference, scheduled for next month.
