New USFS Chief Strong Leader for the Nation's Forests

WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- The American Forest Foundation issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced a new Chief of the U.S. Forest Service, Tony Tooke. Tooke previously served as Regional Forester in the Forest Service's Southern Region.
In regards to this announcement, Tom Martin, President and CEO of the American Forest Foundation released the following statement:
