LANSING, Mich., Aug. 22 -- Gov. Rick Snyder, R-Mich., issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), another form of SJS, are severe adverse drug reactions (ADR's) to medication. SJS is one of the most debilitating ADR's recognized; and,
WHEREAS, although SJS affects people of all ages, a large amount of those diagnosed are children; and,
WHEREAS, SJS was first discovered in 1922 by two pedia . . .
