ERIE, Pa., Aug. 18 -- Erie Community Foundation issued the following news release:
Donors gave over $4.4 million to support 374 local nonprofit organizations during Erie Gives 2017. The jaw-dropping total is nearly $1 million dollars more than the final numbers from 2016. Including a $315,000 prorated match provided by The Erie Community Foundation, GE Transportation, Erie Insurance, Presque Isle Downs & Casino, Northwest Bank, E.E.
