ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 18 -- The American Trucking Associations issued the following news release:
Today, the American Trucking Associations officials said they were concerned that by moving to reopen the second phase of its Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Fuel Efficiency Standards for Medium- and Heavy-Duty rule, the Environmental Protection Agency could be setting the stage for California to impose a de facto national standard, superseding federal rules.
