WASHINGTON, July 18 -- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued the following statement by spokeswoman Rachel Irwin ahead of Rep. Mike Bost's telephone town hall this evening, calling out his hypocrisy for his previous comments blasting his opponent for holding telephone town halls in 2014:

"Rep. Mike Bost should heed his own advice and stop hiding behind a phone and reading scripted lines while taxpayers foot the bill," said DCCC spokeswoman Rachel Irwin.
