Chicago Zoological Society Hosts Wounded Warrior Project at Brookfield Zoo

BROOKFIELD, Ill., June 23 -- The Chicago Zoological Society issued the following news release:
On June 22, dozens of veterans as part of the Wounded Warrior Project(R) (WWP) Soldier Ride(R) visited Brookfield Zoo. Just before entering the zoo's south entrance, the riders passed under an American flag draped across two ladder trucks from Riverside and Brookfield fire departments.
Once inside the park, guests, zoo staff and volunteers, and children enrolled in the zoo . . .
