KDA Grant Supports Disposal of Orphaned Pesticide

TOPEKA, Kan., April 26 -- The Kansas Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:

The Kansas Department of Agriculture pesticide and fertilizer program recently received a grant from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment Bureau of Air to aid in the disposal of orphaned pesticide products. The grant was made possible by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7. The grant extends over a two-year period for a total of $75,000.
