Coast Guard Force Readiness Command Holds Change of Command

WASHINGTON, April 25 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard issued the following news release:

Rear Adm. Keith Smith relieved Rear Adm. David Throop as Commander, Force Readiness Command, during the ceremony.The Coast Guard's Force Readiness Command held a change-of-command ceremony, Thursday.

Vice Adm. Sandra Stosz, the Deputy Commandant for Mission Support in Yorktown, Va., presided over the ceremony.
