Beginning on Monday, March 27, 2017, for the very first time, negotiations on a treaty to ban nuclear weapons in international law are taking place under the auspices of the United Nations. More than 120 nations have gathered to participate in the negotiations.
A treaty banning nuclear weapons would make using, possessing, developing, and assisting with nuclear weapons illegal . . .
